The ACMG is the professional association of trained and certified mountain guides, ski guides, alpine guides, rock guides, hiking guides, climbing instructors and via ferrata guides dedicated to upholding and advancing the profession of mountain guiding and climbing instruction in Canada.
We have been the voice for all aspects of mountain guiding and instruction in Canada for over half a century. We were the first guiding association outside of Europe to be recognized by the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations (IFMGA).
Many government land managers and agencies recognize the training, certification and practices of ACMG members above all others.
