Mountaineering and Alpine Guiding

From climbs in the high mountain ranges to ice climbing and mixed climb test pieces, ACMG guides can help you achieve your goals. Whether it's an instructional course in crevasse rescue, reaching a long-sought summit, or completing a technical alpine climb in the Bugaboos, ACMG guides are trained to the highest standards and are experts at managing and reducing risks on your mountain adventure. This is the terrain in which ACMG Mountain Guides and Alpine Guides operate.

Backcountry Skiing

Earn your turns alpine touring, enjoy multiple laps with the help of a helicopter or snow cat, or spend your nights in a remote hut and days skiing powder snow. Western Canada is renowned worldwide for having the best conditions and terrain for wilderness ski adventures. This is the terrain in which ACMG Mountain Guides and Ski Guides operate.

Hiking and Backpacking

Whether walking through valleys or exploring any of Canada's classic high mountain trails, ACMG guides have the skills and experience to enrich any mountain adventure. Join them for an interpretive hike, snowshoe trip or multi-day backpacking expedition. This is the terrain in which ACMG Hiking Guides work.

Indoor and Top Rope Climbing

Indoor and top rope climbing are activities that everyone can enjoy. Experience climbing instruction and coaching indoors with skilled and dedicated ACMG climbing instructors. ACMG climbing instructors also work outdoors with youth camps and other experiential programs, often giving participants their first taste of outdoor climbing. This is the terrain where ACMG Climbing Gym Instructors and Top Rope Climbing Instructors excel.
