The Professional Practice and Continuing Professional Development Reporting Form was recently updated to confirm Commercial General Liability (CGL) Insurance coverage.

EQUA/ACMG Liability Insurance Program (LIP) subscribers will be able to track client days for reporting purposes.
ACMG members who are not subscribers will need to confirm whether their guiding services are covered by CGL insurance provided by their employer or by the operator that has contracted their services.
If not, as a condition of ACMG Membership, members must carry CGL insurance coverage and provide the ACMG with a Certificate of Insurance within thirty (30) business days of renewal of their CGL insurance policy, with the additional insured clause noted below on the face of the Certificate of Insurance and as a clause or an endorsement in the insurance policy.

The EQUA/ACMG LIP policy requires that subscribers report their actual client days for C1 and C2 activities and gross revenue for C3 and C4 activities for the policy year beginning November 5, 2025 and ending November 5, 2026 (both dates at 12:01 a.m. Mountain Standard Time). If actual client days and revenue exceed estimated, subscribers will be required to pay an additional insurance premium.

In addition to tracking Professional Practice hours by discipline, the Professional Practice and Continuing Professional Development reporting form also now tracks EQUA/ACMG LIP client days by C1 Hiking and Backpacking Related Activities or C2 Climbing and Skiing Related Activities.
