Mentorship Programs

To supplement and support the ongoing mentorship that aspiring guides receive through their employers and supervising guides during their apprenticeship, the ACMG offers a variety of focussed single and multi-day mentorship programs with current Training and Assessment Program instructors.
Application Information

Adventure tourism activities and the environments in which they occur are inherently dangerous. Participating in ACMG Mentorship Program activities will expose you to many risks, dangers, and hazards. Some of the common risks, dangers, and hazards are set out in the program Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, Assumption of Risk, and Indemnity Agreement. Please review these carefully and consider whether these risks are within your personal risk tolerance. By participating in the Mentorship Program activities, you will freely and voluntarily accept and fully assume all such risks, dangers, and hazards and the possibility of personal injury, death or loss resulting therefrom.

Application Notes:

  • Course fees are collected at the time of application and are subject to the Training and Assessment Program's withdrawal and refund policies, whereby the Training and Assessment Program does not issue refunds after the application deadline.
  • You will receive an automated response when your application has been successfully submitted.
  • Additional course information and logistics will be shared with you 2 weeks prior to the program date.

Program Locations, Dates, Tuition and Deadlines

Students participating in mentorship programming must hold an active ACMG professional membership with an appropriate designation for the mentorship program.
